Although Strathallan is a semi-private club, it welcomes and invites members of the public to enjoy a game of golf on its course. Whether you are an individual or a member of a group, the course is available on most days outside of club competitions.
The course is open to the public from dawn until dusk on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and normally after 1.30pm on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. On Thursday the course is available from 12.30pm.
Tee bookings must be made in advance. You can do this by using the Visitors Bookings portal on this web site. The club encourages community and social groups to use the course, however these bookings must be made in advance by phoning the club.
Apart from the available times mentioned above the club has began a new initiative where social golf groups can book a block of tee times during the club’s normal competition on Sunday mornings and at any other time outside of competitions. Such groups are also able to avail themselves of the barbecue and bar facilities offered by the club. For further details regarding these arrangements, contact the club Secretary via email or phone as listed on the web contact page.
Local, interstate and overseas visitors are always welcome at Strathallan. Players with a registered handicap and who wish to compete in any of the club’s competitions are welcome, but are requested to make arrangements with the club prior to the day of the event.

Note: fee for hire of a cart for members during a competition round is $20.
The Club has reciprocal rights agreement with the Whittlesea Golf Club.
Under this agreement, members from either club are welcomed at each other's course and entitled to play under special conditions and fees, although they are ineligible to win any Board event.
Whittlesea Arrangements
Strathallan members playing at Whittlesea are subject to a green fee payment of $15 and the normal competition fee if playing in the competition. Fees for Ride-on carts are that applicable to Whittlesea members.
Whittlesea members playing at Strathallan are subject to the special green fee equivalent to that applicable to Full time students (currently $20), regardless of the number of holes played and whether or not play is in a competition or socially. If play is in competition, the daily competition fee will also apply. Ride-on carts are also available at the equivalent members rates.
